Every EVO begins as a genesis egg holding a committed starting nature. No two are alike, and the starting nature is never silently rewritten.

The egg hatches into a living being with its own visible form and inner nature — rendered from its genome, not pasted on as artwork.

EVO grows by doing real tasks — read-only research work whose results are checked, not claimed. No grinding, no farming, no fabricated outcomes.

What EVO is not
Is it an NFT collection?
No. EVO is not a static NFT collection. Ownership may be recorded canonically, but the thing itself is a living being that grows through verified experience — not a fixed image with a token attached.
Is it a chatbot?
No. EVO is not a chatbot wrapper. It is a living AI being with owner-controlled custody, verifiable experience and bounded self-directed evolution.
Does it do whatever it wants?
No. EVO's self-direction is bounded. It can propose — you approve. Privileged actions require explicit owner permission, and EVO can never weaken its own permission policy.
Is this on mainnet?
No. The current runtime is testnet-safe. No real funds, no mainnet integration, no public-release evidence. Mainnet or public activation requires explicit owner authorization and is not enabled here.
